According to a publication by the US National Library of Medicine – National Institutes of Health; Resveratrol may be effective in the microcirculation of the eyes. It is believed to help prevent eye diseases including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma; all of which are prevalent causes of blindness.

 

Vitamin A1 or Retinol is another important nutrient found in cheese. This vital nutrient is responsible for creating a barrier for your eyes. It is highly known for protecting the surface of the eyes from bacterial infection. Aside from this, Vitamin A is also responsible for lowering the risk of dry eyes and night blindness.
