Description

Produce butter using a Single Phase Butter Churner made from AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, with variable-speed mixing and heating and cooling through a double jacket on the 50 and 100 litre models.

Key benefits of using a Single Phase Butter Churner

  • The 50 and 100 litre models use a double jacket with 1/2” connections for heating and cooling.
  • An electric motor with variable-speed regulation allows the mixing speed to be adjusted during operation.
  • The shaft and mixing paddles are made from 304 stainless steel, with 316 stainless steel available on request.
  • The special stirrer and paddles can be completely removed to make routine cleaning and sanitising easier and to provide better access when working with butter.
  • The front shaft is fitted with food-grade seals, while the bearing-side shaft port is sealed with a food-grade tri-clamp cap.
  • Connections are provided for rinsing the butter and for draining buttermilk or wash water.
  • A sealed cover with a viewing window allows the product to be checked while the churner is closed.
  • The churner is manufactured from AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, described for this equipment as pharmaceutical quality.

Pro Tip: If your butter-making process includes washing the butter, use the rinsing connection after draining the buttermilk to remove remaining buttermilk or wash water as required.
